1. 100% Local File Processing

ReaderPDF **does not collect, read, or store the content of your processed files by default**. File processing (merging, signing, rotating, converting images, or scanning with the camera) and the text-to-speech engine are performed **entirely in your local browser's memory**. No data from the content of your documents travels to the internet during these operations.

2. Account Data and Firebase Integration

If you decide to log in or register an account via Google or email, we will use Firebase's secure services to manage your personal profile. The only data collected and stored privately is:

• Your first name, email address, and profile picture.
• Your registration date and last access timestamp.
• The playback history or progress of the main viewer.
• If you explicitly decide to save your documents to the cloud via the "Save to cloud" option, these files will be stored 100% encrypted in Firebase Storage, accessible solely and exclusively by you through your secure credentials.

3. Use of Artificial Intelligence (Google Gemini)

ReaderPDF features an AI summary and interactivity engine developed using the Google Gemini API. When you use the summary function:

• The readable text fragment of the processed document is extracted and sent **solely to generate the summary and key points**.
• This transmission is done securely and encrypted, governed by Google's strict Privacy Policy.

4. Advertising and Cookies (Google AdSense)

ReaderPDF uses Google AdSense to display non-intrusive advertisements that fund the free service. Google, as a third-party advertising provider, uses cookies—including the DoubleClick cookie—to serve personalized ads based on a user's prior visits to this website and other websites on the internet.

The use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads to users based on their browsing on this and other websites. The information collected by these cookies does not personally identify the user and is governed by Google's strict Privacy Policy.
