📋 Terms of Use
Welcome to ReaderPDF. By accessing or using our web platform and its associated tool suites, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions of use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, we ask that you do not use our service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using this website, you declare that you are of legal age or have the consent of your parents or legal guardians, and have sufficient legal capacity to be bound by these terms.
2. Use of Service
ReaderPDF provides an interactive suite of voice-assisted reading tools, universal accessibility, and local processing of PDF, Word, EPUB documents, and images. You agree to use this service exclusively in a legal and ethical manner.
- Personal and Academic Use: The service is provided free of charge for personal, educational, and non-mass professional purposes.
- Respect for Copyright: It is strictly prohibited to process, transcribe, share, or synthesize into audio third-party copyrighted documents without having the corresponding explicit authorization from the rights holder.
- Prohibition of Abuse: Automating the use of the platform through bots, scrapers, or scripts that could saturate Firebase databases or compromise server performance for other users is not allowed.
3. Intellectual Property and Storage
Documents processed locally remain under your exclusive authorship and possession. If you choose to register and log in, notes, settings, and files uploaded to the "My Files" section will be stored privately in your assigned Firebase Storage account. ReaderPDF claims no ownership rights over your personal content.
4. Exclusion of Warranties and Liability
ReaderPDF is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. ReaderPDF is not responsible for any data loss, device damage, or study flow interruptions caused by the use of the suite.
5. Modifications of Terms
We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms of Use at any time. The date of the last update will always be indicated at the top of this page.
